Driver Michael Andretti on his Newman-Hass Racing Team Indy car at the Gateway track, East St. Louis, May 1997. Mr. Andretti drove during the 1997 season with aerodynamic innovations developed the the Dept. of Aero and Atro Engineering of the University of Illinois. He won at the Homested speedway (Florida) on his first trial with wings designed by Dr. M. Selig and his associates.
